I know exactly where you are. How? Because I have been here many times - whether being the only nurse in a busy psychiatric emergency department in NYC or taking care of more than 200 patients each month in a Methadone care management program. Each time, I burned out, questioned why I went into healthcare, and rebranded myself. Since then, I have earned two masters degrees in health administration and social work, had remote jobs with insurance companies, traveled around the country working high-paying nursing strike assignments, and will be starting law school this fall. I understand the power of personal branding and leveraging your healthcare degree + experience to obtain better paying, more flexible jobs that align with your career goals.
